Pyrometry Control
The furnace survey, thermocouple and instrument calibration standard behind every aerospace heat treatment — without the pyrometry record, the heat treatment is not evidenced.

Inspection Certificate
3.1 is certified by an independent inspection department; 3.2 adds the customer's or a third-party agency's countersignature. Both are traceable to the heat and lot.
Testing and inspection scope
- Chemical composition and PMI verification against the marking and certificate
- Tensile, yield, elongation and reduction of area in the specified test direction
- Hardness verification against the ordered temper, class or condition
- Heat treatment records with AMS 2750 compliant furnace and pyrometry data
- Liquid penetrant, magnetic particle or ultrasonic inspection to the agreed extent
- Grain size, microstructure and cleanliness where the specification calls for it
- Dimensional and cut-piece verification against the ordered size or nest
- EN 10204 3.1 or 3.2 certification traceable to the heat and lot
